I recall a few years ago, my mother was talking to a someone who worked at a book printing shop located in Orange County, California and they recommended that if the family was currently facing many obstacles, for example if the one suspects their spouse of having an affair with someone else or either their children causing too much trouble or mayhem around the house, reading or reciting The Sūtra of Bodhisattva Kṣitigarbha's Fundamental Vows, may relieve the suffering the family is going through and many things will change for the better, bringing back happiness and luck to the family as a whole for the future.
When reading The Sūtra of Bodhisattva Kṣitigarbha's Fundamental Vows, read or recite it loud enough for you to hear, it is very powerful to overcome many obstacles. It is also very beneficial to read it especially for this Ullambana Hungry Ghost month for wandering spirits to also listen to.
